Who am I
I'm a fellowship-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon-scientist. My specialty focuses on oral and maxillofacial cancer treatment and research in head and neck cancer immunology.
Essentially, I study how our immune system interacts with head and neck cancer, and my goal is to enhance its ability to fight this cancer.
My academic journey spanned 21 years, including a BMedSc, Master's, PhD, Dental School, Medical School, Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Research Fellowship in Immunology (Portland, OR, USA), and Clinical Fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction (Boston, MA, USA).
